How to make Risotto

 How to make Risotto


What we need !!



- 1.4  cups vegetable stock

- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- 1 Onion, finely chopped

- 1  mushroom finelly chopped

- 1 tablespoons butter

- 2 cloves garlic 

- 1/2  teaspoon fresh thyme, finely chopped

- salt, pepper as per need or taste

-  arborio rice (200 g)

- water as per need 

- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese, plus more for serving 

-  fresh parsley, for serving also



How to make !!


1) First of all add the stock to a medium pan and bring to a boil over medium heat. when the stock is boiling, turn the heat of the stove to low or remove the pan from the heat and keep aside.


2) Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a wide, tall pot over low to medium heat. when the oil heats, add the onion and cook, keep stirring in between, until it turns golden brown or transperent.


3) Next add any of your favourite mushrooms and then add butter. Cook and keep stirring in between, let the mushroom cooks nicely.


4) Now add the finally chopped garlic let it shortey, then add thyme, salt, and pepper, stir, and cook it about 2  minute, until the butter melts and the garlic turn aromatic.


5) Now add rice and stir, let it coated in the mushroom mixture perfectly, Let the rice toast for 2-3 minutes, let it turn aromatic.


6)  Add water as per need and cook until the water has evaporated, stirring occasionally.


7) Next add 1 cup of the stock and stir it nicely. Cook, keep stirring in between, let the stock fully absorbed, and rice are cooked perfectly.


8) Keep stirring it and make sure the stock or broth is completely absorbed.


9)  When the rice are cooked and your Risotto is ready, turn the heat off and Taste it, add salt, papper and your favourite cheese as per need.


10) Enjoy 🎉
